👤
SeniorMike Harris is an independent consultant, coach and facilitator with 30 years of software engineering and management experience who helps organisations navigate the human side of change—from AI adoption and team restructuring to engineering culture and leadership development. He combines hands-on technical credibility (cloud, distributed systems, Go, Java, Python, AWS) with deep people-focused practice, including Agile coaching, facilitation and training in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy. Mike has a track record of bootstrapping and scaling engineering teams at Elsevier, architecting cloud-native and GDPR-compliant systems, and running a community-first managed hosting co-op serving NGOs and social enterprises. He prioritises data sovereignty and ethical tech, running infrastructure via XtreamLab and championing open-source and community projects in Bristol. Known for mentoring across levels and geographies, he brings pragmatic delivery experience together with an uncommon emphasis on psychological safety and organisational dynamics.
