Top SchoolMike Hostetler is an engineering team lead and entrepreneur with 14 years of experience delivering high-impact web and enterprise software, currently leading engineering at ServiceCore. He blends C-suite strategic thinking—shaped by roles as COO and VP of Enterprise Technology—with hands-on engineering expertise in architecture, front-end replatforms, cloud migrations, and e-commerce platforms. Mike has driven large transformations (including a Cars.com migration to AWS and a 74% organic traffic lift from enterprise SEO work) and has a track record of reducing costs and improving operational efficiency at scale. He founded and bootstrapped a distributed software agency, has advised and re-platformed multiple startups, and presents technical training to large audiences and Fortune 500 clients. An active open-source advocate, he contributes to Drupal, jQuery, and Node.js communities and champions remote work and WorkOps practices. His combination of an MBA from Kellogg and a CS degree gives him rare fluency translating technical tradeoffs into business outcomes.
