Top SchoolMike Koss is a seasoned software leader with over three decades of product and engineering experience, having helped build foundational Microsoft products, led teams at Google, and co-founded startups in cryptocurrency and education. He combines hands-on development expertise with executive governance through board and committee roles at the Museum of Flight and nonprofit initiatives that train underrepresented developers. Known for shipping web and real-time systems—work that touched Firebase and Chrome apps—he also runs community tech spaces and early web products dating back to the 2000s. Based in Seattle with an MS in Computer Science from MIT, he pairs deep technical chops with sustained volunteer leadership and a knack for turning community needs into practical software solutions. An interesting through-line: he blends product design, teaching, and civic-minded technology deployment, often focusing on education and inclusion rather than pure commercial growth.
