Top SchoolMike Kotsur is a founder and seasoned software engineer with 14 years of experience helping organisations turn complex technical challenges into pragmatic, customer-centric solutions. He combines first-principles thinking, systems design and hands-on engineering across cloud-native platforms, architecture, and migration projects—from monolith-to-microservices to JVM-Python integrations. Mike excels as a coach, tech lead and workshop facilitator, repeatedly halving lead and cycle times through collaborative goal-setting and pragmatic technical choices. His work spans academia, government and healthcare, including designing a multi-cloud secure data-sharing platform for the City of Amsterdam and rapid MVPs for SURF and Elsevier. Colleagues praise his ability to break complex problems into achievable steps and to keep discussions focused while empowering teams to own outcomes. He brings an unusual mix of technical depth, facilitation skill and product-minded validation—able to define and launch month-long MVPs that test desirability, feasibility and viability.
