Top SchoolMike Mcgarr is an engineering leader with 14+ years building developer productivity, build and performance infrastructure at high-scale companies including Netflix and Slack. He currently manages ASCII at Netflix, focusing on artifacts, source and CI systems, and previously led cross-cutting teams that shipped JVM paved-road tooling, Gradle plugins, CI pipelines and AMI bakeries. Mike combines hands-on engineering (authoring tools and Groovy/Jenkins automation) with people leadership—hiring, mentoring and creating career paths that consistently produced promotions and stronger team culture. He founded the DC Continuous Delivery meetup and co-hosts the Ship Show podcast, signaling a long-standing commitment to the DevOps and developer experience community.
