Senior🎓
Top SchoolMike Michon is a seasoned engineering leader specializing in operationalizing large-scale systems and scaling transformative teams through hyper-growth. With two decades of experience and a decade in senior leadership, he has built foundational security and compliance platforms at Google that support 100+ GCP services and protect multi-billion-dollar enterprise deals. Previously he led analytics and billing engineering at Cloudflare to process millions of logs per second and architected product analytics and cloud management platforms at Riverbed. Mike blends hands-on systems design with people ops—growing organizations from zero to 85 engineers and scaling distributed teams of ~50 across global sites. He has a knack for pragmatic automation (including applying LLMs to security validation) and a hacker's curiosity for hardware, evidenced by ESP8266 projects and long stretches of travel and hands-on tinkering. Based in San Francisco, he pairs deep infrastructure expertise with a track record of shipping reliable, secure platforms at internet scale.
