Top SchoolMike Mooney is a software engineer, entrepreneur, and hands-on technology leader with 13 years of experience designing and shipping Microsoft .NET solutions across startups and enterprises. As president of MMDB Solutions he built and maintains several open-source projects for Windows deployment and job scheduling, and has a strong track record introducing pragmatic DevOps, automated builds, and test-driven practices into legacy teams. His work spans full-stack .NET development—C#, ASP.NET/MVC, SQL Server—plus cloud hosting on Windows Azure and integrations with payment and e-commerce systems that have processed high-volume transactions. Known for converting complex legacy systems into maintainable architectures, he pairs solution architecture with day-to-day coding and has repeatedly led mixed onshore/offshore teams to deliver production systems. Based in Pennsylvania, he blends entrepreneurial grit with a practical focus on testability, deployment automation, and measurable business outcomes.
