Senior🎓
Top SchoolMike Ohlsen is a senior software architect with 25 years of hands-on experience who still codes daily and specializes in front-end UI architecture while spanning the full stack. At Rockwell Automation he leads UI architecture for FactoryTalk Design Studio and internal UI toolkits that have been adopted across 30+ products, saving teams months of development time. He champions practical adoption of GenAI tooling—evaluating platforms like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code and training hundreds of engineers—delivering talks to audiences up to 1,400 and even a Board member. Creator of the popular check-engine npm package with roughly 6 million lifetime downloads and an active member of Rockwell’s OSS committee, he combines open-source impact with corporate stewardship. A pragmatic leader and mentor, he prototypes, pairs, and ships rather than dictating from an ivory tower, and holds 7 granted patents with many more pending.
