Top SchoolMike Prieto is a software engineer with 11 years of programming experience and a strong foundation in Python, C++, Java, Node.js and web technologies. Currently at Google, he has contributed to BigQuery and networking tooling from internships to full-time roles, turning complex SQL and packet-processing challenges into tested, production-ready features. As an undergraduate at Notre Dame he built DroneResponse software—implementing map interfaces, real-time video pipelines, MQTT telemetry, and autonomous pre-flight checks—bridging front-end collaboration and embedded autonomy. He has teaching experience mentoring first-year engineers in Python and MATLAB, and a history of campus technology leadership that influenced university-wide tooling decisions. Practical, curious, and cross-disciplinary, Mike combines systems-level C++ work with user-focused Node.js and Python projects to deliver end-to-end solutions.
