Top SchoolMike Rivera is a Senior Software Engineer with 13 years of experience building scalable web and operations-focused systems across startups and enterprise customers from the New York City area. He blends deep backend skills (Scala, PostgreSQL, AWS) with a strong UI/UX sensibility and a history of shipping end-to-end products—from actuarial invoicing tools at Elemica to a subscription logistics platform he co-founded. As a technical lead he’s managed distributed full‑stack teams, introduced ChatOps and DevOps efficiencies, and repeatedly turned prototypes into foundational product offerings. More recently he led development at Loop Crypto and now drives engineering at Lead, bringing entrepreneurial grit and a preference for hard problems in web3 and high-growth environments. Notably, he combines pragmatic automation (increasing shipping throughput and developer productivity) with an eye for delightful user interfaces.
