Top SchoolMikhail Kulikov is a Principal Software Engineer with over 15 years building high-load online systems and AI infrastructure, currently leading GenAI efforts at Moody's Analytics after a decade-plus at Microsoft. He combines a Ph.D.–level mathematics background with hands-on systems engineering to cut latency and resource use—at Microsoft he helped ship Outlook’s email auto-completion and saved one billion user input characters per month while halving FPGA inference latency. His work spans low-level C++ kernel development, large-scale AI inference optimizations, and production deployment of ML services, with a track record of measurable performance gains. Comfortable mentoring and onboarding partners to complex stacks, he also brings uncommon expertise in numerical and geometric algorithms from earlier research and product roles.
