Senior🎓
Top SchoolMikhail Porokhovnichenko is a senior software engineer and architect with 14 years building reliable web and realtime systems, primarily in Python/Django, PostgreSQL and modern frontend stacks. Based in Tomsk Oblast, he has led API and websocket server design, CI and database infrastructure work at Nomad Labs while previously delivering payment gateway integrations and scalable backends. A TDD-driven perfectionist who prefers Unix environments, he brings deep operational experience (backups, pgBouncer/pgPool, Redis/Twemproxy, Heroku) and a pragmatic approach to RESTful API design. Early in his career he acted as a developer advocate—introducing Django, testing culture and modern tooling to teams—so he combines hands-on implementation with mentoring and process improvement. Notably, he’s maintained long-term freelance and in-house roles that reflect an ability to ship production systems across diverse domains, from government sites to banking integrations.
