Senior🎓
Top SchoolMikhail S is a BitVM R&D engineer and cryptography-first systems builder with a decade of experience turning advanced crypto research into production-grade Rust infrastructure. He has architected and shipped cross-chain DeFi systems that safely moved over $11B with zero incidents and built open-source zk folding libraries and verifiers used to bridge SNARKs into constrained environments like Bitcoin Script. At Babylon Labs he’s advancing BitVM and MPC techniques to enable optimistic, trustless computation on Bitcoin without consensus changes, drawing on prior roles leading protocol design, on-chain/off-chain integration, and Rust migrations. Based in Barcelona, he blends deep applied cryptography, systems engineering, and a longtime hobbyist history in Minecraft modding — a hint at his pragmatic, hands-on approach to complex engineering problems.
