Top SchoolMiles Chick is a senior lead software engineer in Austin with over a decade of hands-on experience building and leading web application teams for SaaS and e-commerce. He combines entrepreneurial instincts from running his own web shop with deep LAMP-stack expertise—architecting solutions, introducing new technologies, and keeping a practical coding hand in. Miles has led multi-level teams through project scoping, timelines and ticket triage while driving measurable business outcomes like improved conversion and SEO from A/B testing and API integrations. Comfortable across PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter), modern front-end stacks (React/Redux, Angular), and database administration, he excels at translating executive priorities into technical delivery. Colleagues describe him as patient, business-focused, and adept at unblocking mid and junior developers to maintain consistent momentum.
