Top SchoolMiles Petrov is a Programmer Analyst with 10 years of hands-on experience building data-rich web maps and maintaining .NET applications for Environment and Climate Change Canada. He combines practical full-stack skills—mapping, CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines—and a pragmatic appreciation for the whole build process, even if testing isn't his favorite step. Based in Mississauga, he blends a Computer Science BS with a background in Labor and Industrial Relations, bringing both technical rigor and user-focused perspective to environmental and emergency information systems. Known on GitHub as a "cartographer of code," Miles has a knack for turning complex geospatial data into clear, actionable public-facing tools.
