Top SchoolMiles Sterrett is a Director of Engineering with 17 years of experience leading product-minded software and infrastructure teams from Indianapolis. He has repeatedly built and scaled engineering organizations—growing teams and individual contributors—while embedding a culture of quality, security, and continuous learning. Comfortable shifting between hands-on technical work and strategic planning, Miles has led engineering at startups and growth-stage companies including CareerPlug, DriverReach, Olio, and Bend Health. Known for servant leadership and close collaboration with Product, he delivers customer value predictably and with a sense of humor (he once attempted to build a high-five counting glove). His long tenure on the Indy Hackers board and history of founding and partnering in small firms reflect both community commitment and entrepreneurial grit.
