Summary
Milo Cooper is a Senior Software Engineer in San Diego with 6+ years focused on high-performance C and C++ SDKs and cross-platform systems for Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD. He architects and implements multi-threaded, low-level TCP/IP services, high-throughput trie-based lookups, and production daemons that handle tens of thousands of queries per second, while also delivering client-facing SDKs and sample apps across C#, F#, and C++/CLI. His background in game-engine integration and artist tooling (Maya, 3ds Max, FaceGen, PhyreEngine) gives him a rare blend of graphics pipeline insight and robust backend engineering. Comfortable across async/F# microservices, REST and SQL architectures, and extensive unit-testing/mocking frameworks, he routinely partners with sales engineers and customers to debug and tailor SDK builds. Active on GitHub and GitLab with a portfolio of projects, he pairs deep systems-level optimization with practical tooling and documentation. Outside work he composes orchestral music, reflecting a structured creativity that informs both design and problem solving.
