Milosz Tanski is a veteran software engineer and systems architect with 20 years building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems for companies from startups to Google. He architected the RTB platform at Admeld (later acquired by Google), built a petascale time-series store (Petabucket) for large-scale analytics, and has led storage and infrastructure teams at Apple and Google Cloud. His expertise spans C/C++, multi-threaded and message-passing architectures, real-time processing, and pragmatic engineering of databases and pipelines for 100s of TBs of data. Currently focused on safe, scalable infrastructure for AGI, he blends hands-on optimization skills with experience running planet-scale storage and secure data systems. Colleagues know him for squeezing extraordinary performance from single cores and for designing machine-friendly data languages and systems. Based in New York, he pairs deep systems craftsmanship with product-minded leadership across research and production environments.
