Top SchoolMimi Xu is a Group Product Manager in New York with 11 years of experience building consumer and platform products across B2B and B2C at companies including Patreon, Dropbox, Instabase, and Microsoft. She combines studio art, animation, and design training with computer science and psychology to craft creative, user-centered experiences—most recently leading Patreon’s podcasting and synchronous fan products like Drops and native video. Mimi has a strong track record of launching 0→1 products, driving growth and monetization (including scaling monetization tools to hundreds of millions of users), and reorganizing product systems such as design systems and platform UI. She’s comfortable managing large cross-functional efforts (120+ people for Patreon Video) and also hands-on in incubation and SMB-focused product builds. An uncommon strength is her fluency across creative storytelling and technical product strategy, which helps her design delightful creator-first experiences that scale.
