Min Hsieh is a senior Thunderbolt/USB4 firmware and BIOS engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience enabling and debugging high-speed I/O across BIOS, firmware, hardware, and silicon bring-up. At Intel he has driven customer enablement, led cross-site taskforces to resolve the toughest gating issues, and shepherded Thunderbolt integration from early POCs to Thunderbolt 3/4 and USB4 support on notebook and Chrome OS platforms. He pairs deep low-level debugging skills with product application expertise—helping OEMs with schematic/PCB design, certification, and root-cause analysis—and has built tooling such as a TCSS Debug Kit to accelerate hardware fault isolation. An active contributor to OpenVINO’s backend optimizations, he brings ML inference performance tuning experience to his firmware work. Outside engineering he has mentored campus hires and organized sustained knowledge-sharing programs across Intel Taiwan, demonstrating a rare blend of technical depth and community leadership.
