Top SchoolMina Gergis is a Senior Software Engineer based in Cairo with nine years of experience building and refactoring large-scale backend systems using PHP/Laravel, Python, JavaScript, MySQL and MongoDB. She has repeatedly led architecture and cloud integrations for VOD and SaaS products, optimizing performance for multi-million-user traffic and steering incident response during peak loads. Mina combines hands-on coding, unit testing and CI/CD/AWS deployments with hands-on third-party integrations like payments, SSO and social APIs to deliver resilient production services. At multiple companies she drove legacy modernization, created SOA backbones and defined engineering processes that improved team delivery and cross-functional collaboration. She also runs technical hiring and mentoring, and enjoys smoothing the orchestration between machines and services—an inclination reflected in her cloud-and-open-source-minded approach. Her background in software engineering and practical product-facing experience make her adept at turning complex requirements into maintainable, scalable systems.
