Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMinjie X is a pragmatic machine learning practitioner and Staff Member of Technical Staff at Cohere in London, blending research rigor from a PhD at Tsinghua with hands-on engineering across industry roles at Tractable, Bloomberg and Google. Over two years in senior ML-focused roles and a longer history as a researcher-engineer, they excel at turning ML insights into production systems while communicating complex ideas clearly. Inspired by builder-hackers like Karpathy and Hotz, Minjie pairs curiosity-led experimentation with production-minded pragmatism. A pattern of rapid progression into staff-level roles and a dual presence on GitHub under @chokkyvista hint at both deep technical fluency and an active practice of sharing or reproducing cutting-edge work.
