Senior🎓
Top SchoolMinkyu Cho is a VP of Engineering and founder with 11 years of hands-on backend and data engineering experience, currently leading engineering for a CRM marketing automation SaaS in Seoul. He has a strong track record scaling systems and cutting AWS costs, migrating monoliths to microservices, and building near-real-time experiment and analytics platforms using Spark, ClickHouse/Druid, Kafka, and containerized deployments. As CTO and technical lead at gaming and fintech startups, he launched high-traffic products (YOUR.GG, NAVER TV) and instituted observability, A/B testing, and agile practices across teams. He also builds consumer-facing services—Livewire uses generative AI and Cloudflare Workers to index live music events—demonstrating a blend of product intuition and engineering craft. Influenced by Paul Graham’s Hacker and Painter, he treats engineering goals as opportunities for creative solutions and cost-effective design. Comfortable shifting between founder-level strategy and low-level system optimization, he excels at turning data-heavy problems into practical, production-ready platforms.
