Top SchoolMircea Vutcovici is an OpenStack Principal Technical Support Engineer with 13+ years of hands-on experience in Linux, virtualization (KVM, ESX), containers, and large-scale IaaS deployments. Based in Montreal, he’s an expert troubleshooter across OpenStack services (nova, cinder, neutron, keystone, ironic, heat) and associated stacks—clustering, storage, networking and low-level Linux kernel problems—regularly using perf, eBPF and FlameGraphs to diagnose production issues. His background spans cable network operations (CMTS, DOCSIS, BGP) through enterprise middleware and Java performance tuning, giving him a rare blend of carrier-grade networking and cloud platform expertise. Comfortable with automation (Ansible, Chef), storage fabrics (iSCSI, FC, NFS, DM-multipath), and boot/network provisioning (PXE, iPXE, IPMI), he excels at untangling cross-domain failures that span hardware to application. Colleagues rely on him for deep forensic debugging and pragmatic remediation plans born from years of supporting critical infrastructure at scale.
