Top SchoolMiriam Campos-Quinn is a library and archives leader with a decade of hands-on experience designing and migrating DAMS, cataloging diverse film and paper collections, and building practical digital preservation tooling. Based in Oakland, she combines archival rigor (MLIS, Archival Studies) with software-savvy: authoring custom Flask/Python repositories and integrations for LTO-7 storage, ResourceSpace, and Piction to keep AV and image assets discoverable and safe. As Director of Library Special Projects at BAMPFA she manages grants, supervises teams, and defines technical specs for exhibition history systems while continuing to write scripts and QC metadata to solve stubborn interoperability problems. She’s equally comfortable repairing film prints and writing API-driven connectors, and often finds efficiency gains by translating curator needs into reproducible technical workflows.
