Top SchoolMisha Chernetsov is an experienced software leader with 12 years in engineering and over a decade building distributed data platforms, currently serving as Area Tech Lead for the Grammarly Platform in Austin. He specializes in architecting scalable analytics and storage systems—having designed in-house Parquet+S3 storage, a Scala DSL for composable aggregations, and cross-device user attribution pipelines that operate in both batch and streaming modes. Misha has repeatedly scaled teams and products from scratch, blending hands-on engineering with technical management across startups and large companies (Pixonic, Amazon, Odnoklassniki). He brings deep expertise in Spark, Scala, Kafka, Cassandra and AWS, and a knack for turning complex data requirements into developer-friendly tools like custom SQL query layers and web-based editors. A former CTO and serial founder, he pairs product instincts with systems-level rigor and a practical focus on operational efficiency.
