Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolMisha Karpenko is a Berlin-based co-founder and software engineer with 11 years of experience building production mobile and web products from startup to acquisition. He helped scale Wunderlist’s iOS product through Microsoft’s acquisition and now leads engineering at Pitch, combining hands-on iOS expertise with product-minded systems work. His background spans full-stack PHP services, REST APIs and map/geo tooling, and he has a track record of setting up team processes—CI, testing, code reviews—and mentoring junior developers. Notably, he designed offline map tile pipelines and REST sync mechanisms early in his career, reflecting a bias for practical infrastructure that improves user-facing apps. Currently not considering offers, he remains focused on shaping Pitch’s product and engineering culture.
