Summary
👤
SeniorMitja Kramberger is a Principal Engineer based in the UK with 18+ years of hands-on experience designing scalable platforms and leading high-performing engineering teams. He has repeatedly driven large rebuilds and performance-focused projects—from payment orchestration and serverless architectures to accounting and rendering systems—delivering measurable improvements like 10x rendering speedups and horizontally scalable services. Comfortable in both startup and enterprise contexts, he combines technical depth across front-end, backend, DevOps and observability with practical runbooks and automation to reduce operational toil. He has held principal and staff-level leadership roles at companies including Risk Ledger, Forter, PrimaryBid and Checkout.com, often shaping standards and best practices across departments. Known for thriving under pressure, Mitja pairs results-driven execution with a collaborative, data-informed approach to cross-team delivery. An understated strength is his track record of turning regulatory or complex domain requirements (payments, MIFID2, PSD2) into robust, production-ready solutions.
