Senior🎓
Top SchoolMladen Ruzicic is a product-minded software engineer and leader with 10+ years building user-focused front-end and cross-platform experiences across startups and enterprise teams. At ZF he took a grassroots tooling problem and turned it into Velocity, a design system and component library that became the company standard, progressing from engineer to Engineering Manager and now Global Product Owner for multi-platform driver apps. He combines hands-on implementation (often ~50% coding) with product vision, aligning cross-functional teams to ship consistent, maintainable UI systems at scale. Previously he led full-stack migrations, SDK work at Shopify, and developer experience improvements that increased team velocity and reduced duplication. A lifelong tinkerer and top-rated mentor, he’s currently exploring applied AI while keeping a practical focus on developer productivity and intuitive user interfaces. Based in Lugano, he blends design sensibility from his Graphic Engineering background with strong delivery discipline.
