Top SchoolMoataz Soliman is an operator-founder and angel investor with 12 years building and scaling developer-focused infrastructure and mobile observability products from San Francisco. As co-founder of Luciq he led engineering, product and design to grow the company to 250+ people, scale to 1.7B sessions/day with a four‑nine SLA, and expand ARR tenfold while signing enterprise customers like DoorDash and Instacart. Since 2020 he has also invested in 50+ early-stage devtool startups through 1984.vc and the CTO Fund, backing companies that went on to exits and category leadership such as Metaplane and Supabase. He combines hands-on technical leadership with go-to-market and pricing expertise, and is comfortable sponsoring strategic deals while representing products at industry forums. A Cairo University engineer and Y Combinator alum, he brings a blend of deep systems scaling experience and early-stage operator intuition that few investors match.
