Top SchoolMohamed ELmashad is a software engineer with nine years of hands-on experience specializing in embedded systems, firmware, and autonomous vehicle technologies. Trained in Computer Science at UC Davis, he has delivered production features and tooling at Cruise, Cisco Meraki, and Goldman Sachs—ranging from a fault injection utility for ultrasonics ECUs to a QEMU-based hardware emulation environment that removed dependence on physical devices. Proficient in C++ and Python, he has improved data pipelines, hardened firmware workflows, and optimized real‑time processing across ARM and network appliance platforms. Notably, he has bridged low-level kernel/network debugging with higher-level UI and cloud integrations, demonstrating an ability to move between bits and product-facing systems. Based in New York, he is seeking full-time roles in autonomous systems or firmware development where he can apply his systems-thinking to hard embedded problems.
