Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolMohamed Faizal is a seasoned cloud architect and Chief Architect at Microsoft based in Singapore, with over two decades of experience designing and delivering enterprise and government solutions across APAC. He specializes in Azure IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, digital transformation and migration patterns, and has led high-impact programs for agencies and banks such as GovTech, IRAS, DBS and Standard Chartered. Known for removing technical blockers at scale, he couples presales and delivery strategy with hands-on POC and MVP development using Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Python and Go. A five-time Microsoft MVP and multiple award winner, he mentors regional pre-sales architecture teams and shapes product feedback into engineering improvements. His background spans both deep technical craftsmanship and customer-facing influence—he runs a public YouTube channel and maintains practical open-source artifacts that accelerate cloud adoption. Less obvious: he blends an MBA-informed business perspective with technical leadership, making him as comfortable in board-level discussions as in debugging a complex cloud deployment.
