Senior🎓
Top SchoolMohamed Wael is a Senior Android Engineer with 11 years of experience designing and shipping scalable, secure mobile experiences for global brands like WeightWatchers, Vodafone, Careem, and Careem’s Captain app. He specializes in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM/MVI (including Mavericks), Coroutines, modular SDK development and CI/CD, and has led the creation and maintenance of 15+ reusable Android SDKs for Vodafone markets. At WW he rebuilt account management and migrated screens to Compose with ADA support, and at Vodafone he combined architecture, team leadership and DevOps collaboration to streamline cross-market integrations. He’s known for clean, testable code, mentoring junior engineers, and tackling end-to-end challenges from SDK design to pipeline fixes. Comfortable in short-term contracts and full-time roles, he’s currently based in Riyadh and open to senior positions, freelance work, and mentoring. A less obvious strength: he routinely balances product-facing UI work with low-level SDK architecture, enabling both rapid feature delivery and long-term platform reuse.
