Top SchoolMohammad El-sabae is a Principal Software Engineer with 12 years of systems-first experience building and optimizing real-time, embedded, and cloud tooling across defense and aerospace domains. He specializes in low-level firmware, Linux kernel work, high-performance C/C++ code, and pragmatic Python/Bash automation, having slashed runtime costs and sped legacy tooling by orders of magnitude. At BAE and Raytheon he bridged R&D and tactical systems—enabling GPU processing, standing up the first MLOps pipelines, and re-architecting real-time discriminator chains for situational awareness. He favors simple, strict, parallel designs over conventional paradigms and routinely invents hot-fix scripts and containerized build flows to unblock teams. Based in Greater Boston, he pairs a math-flavored engineering style with hands-on hustle—down to negotiating software licensing and preferring oatmeal-raisin cookies to chocolate chip.
