Senior🎓
Top SchoolMolly Bennett is a Senior Software Engineer based in Portland, Oregon with eight years of frontend-focused experience building React and TypeScript applications. She has shipped high-impact features and performance improvements—most notably a complete rebuild of a time-tracking web app that boosted Lighthouse scores and achieved 100% unit test coverage. Molly pairs a strong engineering craft (React, React Query, Cypress, React Native) with a track record of reducing manual QA through test automation and improving cross-platform parity. She’s passionate about mentorship and community building, having led workshops, established an internship program that converted the majority of interns to full-time hires, and served as a teaching fellow and TA. Her background in creative writing and media production gives her a knack for clear communication and storytelling in product work, and she regularly advocates for accessibility and testing best practices. Currently growing in senior front-end roles at Grow Therapy, she blends hands-on delivery with team coaching and operational responsiveness.
