Top SchoolMomar Hughes is a Full Stack Developer with a frontend focus who combines a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering with 10+ years of technical and teaching experience, and three years leading full-stack development and dev-ops for a climate-focused startup. He architects end-to-end systems—designing data models, selecting libraries, and setting up CI/CD on AWS—while shipping Angular/Django applications that include real-time visualisations and spatial tools. Comfortable translating complex research into pragmatic product decisions, Momar has managed contractors, approved PRs, and driven core business strategy from a single-developer prototype to production. An experienced educator and entrepreneur, he also founded an online tutoring agency and led advanced thermodynamics teaching at UNSW, demonstrating rare depth in both communication and technical mentorship. Notably, his background in hybrid aircraft powertrain research informs a disciplined, simulation-driven approach to building reliable software.
