Top SchoolMorgan Heinemann is a Senior Software Engineer and SDET with a decade-plus track record of transforming flaky, slow test suites into fast, reliable CI-driven systems that scale. Based in Seattle, Morgan has architected and refactored end-to-end automation—converting 350+ Cucumber tests to Cypress, slashing regression runtimes from 16+ hours to under an hour, and driving flakiness down from ~25% to ~1%. They combine DevOps, test data orchestration, and custom tooling (ETL pipelines, GitHub Actions, Docker networks) to reduce emergency remediation, accelerate deployments, and save teams both time and money. A practiced mentor and documenter, Morgan also builds observability and tracking tools to make test health visible and actionable across organizations. Notably, they’ve automated month-long manual reporting tasks and created processes that enable engineers to reliably reproduce hard-to-find unit-test edge cases.
