Top SchoolMoritz Jordan is a research-focused software engineer with 13 years of experience building secure web applications and tools. Currently a Research Associate at PTB, he blends academic rigor with hands-on engineering, stemming from a Diplom in Computer Science from the University of Tübingen. His diploma work produced a secure, web-based collaborative forum using client-side encryption, a browser extension, a key-distribution server and X.509-based authentication—evidence of a long-standing focus on privacy and cryptographic systems. Prior roles include freelance software development and web engineering for university institutes, where he delivered production websites and supervised lab work. Based in the Hannover-Braunschweig-Göttingen-Wolfsburg region, he brings a pragmatic, security-first mindset to research-driven software challenges.
