Morten Amundsen
Software Engineer at Bouvet ASA
Summary
👤
SeniorMorten Amundsen is a pragmatic backend developer and technical lead with over two decades of hands-on experience delivering web, telecom and mobile solutions across PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript and C#. He has built production React Native apps, custom MVC frameworks, REST/SOAP integrations and a full predictive dialer/CTI based on Asterisk, and led a zero-downtime migration to Genesys Cloud CX for a high-traffic client. Comfortable across infrastructure and DevOps (Docker, Ansible, Linux) and increasingly integrating AI into workflows, he combines systems-level thinking with a developer-first focus on clean architecture and maintainability. As a serial owner/operator and co‑founder of small ventures, he pairs enterprise-grade engineering with practical product delivery for clients in telecom, energy and consumer services. Based in Notodden, Norway, he brings an unusual blend of telecom switching expertise and modern full‑stack development to complex, cross‑national projects.
