Top SchoolMorton Swimmer is a Principal Threat Researcher with 13 years of experience blending academic rigor and hands-on security engineering from Germany. He combines a doctoral-level understanding of formal models, language and graph theory with practical expertise in static code analysis, malware analysis and penetration testing to turn theoretical ideas into working prototypes. At Trend Micro he leads threat research while also organizing security communities and conferences such as Elbsides and MUC:SEC, reflecting a commitment to knowledge sharing and applied research. His work spans digital immune systems, identity management and novel analyses of virtual worlds and social platforms, bringing uncommon depth in both abstract security models and tool-driven implementation. Colleagues know him for bridging the theory/practice divide: designing formal systems one week and breaking them the next to expose real-world weaknesses.
