Summary
👤
SeniorMostafa Mohamed is a Senior Data Engineer based in Berlin with nine years of experience building data platforms and analytics solutions across education management and fintech. He has advanced skills in Big Data, Hive, databases, servlets and Linux system administration, and currently shapes data infrastructure at SumUp after roles at trivago and other fast-moving companies. Comfortable as a software/data platform engineer, he bridges engineering and operational concerns to deliver scalable, production-grade pipelines. His background from Minufiya University and early undergraduate engineering roles reflect a steady progression from hands-on development to platform ownership. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic system design and for turning messy educational and product data into reliable analytical assets. Notably, he combines backend engineering depth with practical ops experience, making him effective in both building and running data systems.
