Top SchoolMoustafa Abdelbaky is a technology leader, researcher, and entrepreneur with eight years of experience building secure, real-time AI/ML systems for safety-critical domains. As Co-Founder & CTO of Disarray and a CS researcher at UC Berkeley’s SkyLab, he blends startup execution with academic rigor—previously driving mixed-autonomy air traffic and space mission capabilities as a Technical Director at NASA Ames, where he earned the Early Career Achievement Medal. He holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers with multiple IBM Ph.D. Fellowships and awards for scalable distributed systems research, and his work has been recognized by IEEE/ACM competitions and featured in Fortune. Comfortable moving between hands-on engineering and strategic leadership, he has a track record of turning cutting-edge research into operational systems and even jokes that his résumé includes both self-flying cars and mission-critical spacecraft.
