Top SchoolMouwu Lin is a software engineer with nine years of experience building data-driven ad products and backend services across ByteDance, Meta (Facebook), and enterprise environments. At ByteDance he owns Video Shopping Ads Photo Mode and catalog listing features that boosted CTR and CVR while cutting creative costs through dynamic, catalog-driven creatives. Previously at Facebook he bridged onsite signals into core products to unlock measurement and optimization with multi-million dollar revenue impact, and earlier roles span Python/Spark migration, Flask microservices, and PlayStation Network API work. He combines product-minded engineering with hands-on systems implementation—comfortable from ad tech and analytics to scalable service design—and has a background in information systems from Carnegie Mellon that complements his applied technical focus. An understated strength is translating cross-team business needs into pragmatic technical solutions that measurably improve performance and monetization.
