Summary
👤
SeniorMrityunjay Kumar is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft based in California with nine years of industry experience building scalable, production-grade systems. He has shipped agentic Copilot integrations and high-throughput PowerPoint document streaming and caching services leveraging Azure Blob, Azure Table, and Redis. His background spans distributed systems research—having implemented a strongly replicated transactional database during his MS at Stony Brook—and hands-on engineering across storage (vSAN at VMware), embedded tooling and audio stacks (MediaTek), and applied machine learning for image, NLP, and network modeling at Talentica. Comfortable bridging research and product engineering, he combines low-level performance optimization with cloud-native service design. A detail that often gets overlooked: he’s experienced both as a TA and a research contributor, giving him a strong grounding in technical mentorship and reproducible system design.
