Top SchoolMuhammad Alim is a Senior Data Engineer with eight years of hands-on experience designing and operationalizing ETL pipelines, medallion-architecture data platforms, and dimensional data warehouses on Microsoft Azure and Databricks. Microsoft- and Databricks-certified, he combines Spark-based data transformations and Azure Data Factory orchestration with practical BI delivery—having built monitoring Power BI reports that made multi-environment pipeline health visible to stakeholders. He has migrated large systems (Oracle to Azure SQL), implemented incremental change-feed ingestion, and authored metadata-driven ingestion frameworks that reduce operational overhead. Comfortable collaborating across BI, AI, and business teams, he emphasizes clear communication to keep projects aligned and outcomes actionable. A former startup co-founder, he also brings product-minded thinking from e-commerce and web development to data engineering problems. Based in Islamabad with a Computer Science background from NUST, he pairs deep technical execution with a knack for translating data work into business insight.
