Top SchoolMuhammad Shahid is a data-driven technical project manager and teaching assistant with a decade of hands-on experience spanning civil engineering, full-stack development, and applied AI. After transitioning from construction project delivery to a top-ranked MSc in Data Science and a Springer publication, he now leads large cross-functional teams building biometric, OCR, geospatial, and LLM-powered systems with measurable accuracy and fraud-prevention gains. He combines practical engineering discipline with product-focused execution—oversight of dataset strategy, compliance (GDPR/ISO), and Agile delivery—while mentoring students and junior engineers on reproducible ML pipelines. A prolific freelancer and technical writer, he has completed 5,000+ tasks globally, blending Python, PowerBI, web development and design to bridge technical solutions with business value. Notably, he has shipped near-production LLM and biometric features that cut operational effort dramatically and continues to teach and curate ML coursework to translate research into practice.
