Top SchoolMujtaba Hassanpur is a founder-CTO and full-stack software engineer with 13 years of experience building embedded, mobile, and web products that consumers love. Based in San Francisco, he has led end-to-end technical efforts at Ongo Labs and previously drove mobile and medical-device software at Scanadu, blending IEC-62304 compliant processes with computer vision and machine learning for home health products. His background spans firmware and embedded systems at HP through mobile leadership at Sling and MyFitnessPal, giving him a rare fluency from bootloaders to user-facing iOS apps. He’s skilled at turning lab and device data into scalable software systems—having implemented an in-house lab inventory and data integration pipeline to accelerate product development. A pragmatic technical leader, he combines hands-on coding (Swift, Objective‑C, C/C++, Python) with product stewardship and cross-disciplinary collaboration between science, hardware, and design teams. Known for shipping polished consumer experiences, he quietly brings rigorous engineering discipline from medical and mission-critical domains into fast-moving startup contexts.
