Summary
👤
SeniorMukul Sharma is a Senior Computer Scientist with 13 years of experience building production-grade software and leading AI integration in complex product workflows. At Adobe he provides technical leadership for Firefly’s web video editor, focusing on reliability, observability, and designer/developer ergonomics where AI must behave predictably in CI/CD and multi-step environments. He prioritizes system design over clever prompts—defining autonomy boundaries, completion signals, embedded evaluation, and guardrails to prevent runaway behavior. His background spans mobile and embedded systems through to large-scale web products, giving him a practical sense for shipping robust, maintainable systems across the stack. Mukul also mentors teams on pragmatic adoption of agentic practices and shapes engineering culture to favor long-term maintainability over short-term demos. Based in Mountain View, he combines deep technical craft with a persistent focus on when automation should act, pause, or hand back to humans.
