Myroslav Tkachenko
Summary
🤩
RockstarMyroslav Tkachenko is a Senior Software Engineer based in Glasgow with a rare blend of academic rigor—holding a Ph.D. in Mathematical Methods and Models in Economics—and hands-on full‑stack product delivery across SaaS, B2B, and CMS ecosystems. He builds end-to-end features using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, C#, .NET Web API, Java Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and recently contributes to a biotech procurement SaaS serving UK and US customers. His background as an educator and former department head informs a methodical approach to mentoring, documentation, and system design that helps teams modernize legacy UIs and move to CI/CD practices. Comfortable in distributed teams and consulting environments, he has led small teams on large accounts and driven UI modernization projects that emphasize reusable component libraries. Notably, his career bridges academia, training junior developers, and shipping commercial software—bringing analytical depth to pragmatic engineering.
