Top SchoolNada Aldahleh is an engineering director and founder with 14 years of experience building and leading large-scale product and platform teams, currently driving engineering at DuckDuckGo after multiple director roles at GitHub. She combines startup instincts—having founded and scaled Sandglaz through TechStars and a seed round—with enterprise-scale leadership across billing, platform interfaces, code intelligence, and security products. Nada excels at refining product-market fit and operationalizing engineering processes that balance developer velocity with customer value, and she has a track record of turning around team culture and recruiting strong technical leaders. Her background spans hands-on technical decisions, architecture reviews, and instituting systems like CI, TDD, and design review practices that improve long-term reliability. Based in Old Toronto, she brings entrepreneurial grit to large organizations, uniquely pairing product design sensibilities with rigorous engineering management. An engineer by training from McGill, she is as comfortable mentoring directors as she is digging into architectural trade-offs.
